About Us
The Sampsell Family Farm, nestled in DeLeon Springs, has been part of our family for nearly 30 years. Originally purchased from a close family friend, our farm has evolved over the years from raising horses, cattle, and chickens to leasing land for local ranchers. Today, it’s home to our growing herd of whitetail deer and a 1.5-acre stocked pond we built over 20 years ago to provide a place where families can enjoy catch-and-release fishing for generations to come.
After a 32-year career in law enforcement, I wanted to focus on sharing real outdoor adventures and creating opportunities for others to connect with nature. Our family has a deep love for the outdoors, we enjoy hiking, backpacking, scuba diving, spearfishing, boating, skydiving, fishing, and hunting. We also share a passion for traveling, experiencing new cultures, and appreciating the beauty of nature wherever we go.
My wife is fluent in Spanish, and together, we welcome visitors from all backgrounds to enjoy the land, learn, and make lasting memories here at the Sampsell Family Farm where tradition, family, and adventure come together.
